The CEO tapes: top execs debate AM industry's 'lad' culture

Four top asset management CEOs visited Citywire's London headquarters for a candid debate over the state of the industry.

In this first instalment the pervading lad culture tops the agenda as the execs discuss what they are doing at their companies to address the gender balance and encourage more women to join the profession.

This follows a report by Citywire examining the women in fund management and how they are performing.

Moderated by Lawrence Lever, executive chairman of Citywire, the chief executives in attendance were:

·         Martin Gilbert, Aberdeen Asset Management

·         Richard Buxton, Old Mutual Global Investors

·         Anne Richards, M&G Investments

·         Hendrik du Toit, Investec

Stay tuned for further insights into tech, tackling passives and the CEOs’ tips for managing talent in and out of the door.
