A third fund from $1.4 trillion US asset manager Capital Group will be made available to European investors from the end of October.
The firm's emerging market focused strategy, New World, will now be open to investors across the Atlantic owing to the launch of a Luxembourg mirror of the existing US-domiciled strategy, which has amassed $26 billion since inception in 1999.
Capital Group New World Fund (LUX) fund will be managed using the same domicile-agnostic approach as the US version of the strategy. The fund combines exposure to local EM businesses with global multinationals which are benefiting from EM growth.
New World has been launched as part of an initiative announced in 2015 to make some of Capital Group’s most successful investment strategies from the US available to European investors.
The first fund was Capital Group New Perspective Fund (LUX), which was launched in October 2015. This was followed by Capital Group Investment Company of America (LUX), which was introduced in June this year.
